01.

Site Ownership and Editorial Independence

The BMO and UKMT Pathway Guide is an independent editorial website not affiliated with the United Kingdom Mathematics Trust (UKMT), the BMO Subtrust, or any official examination body in the United Kingdom or any other jurisdiction. All references to UKMT, the BMO Subtrust, the British Mathematical Olympiad, individual UKMT competitions, named British mathematicians, and Trinity College Cambridge are made under standard fair-comment editorial principles.

The site is owned and operated by the editorial team. Hosting is provided by a Chinese-licensed hosting provider, with the ICP filing number displayed in the site footer in accordance with applicable Chinese regulations.

02.

All editorial content on the site — text, layout, graphics, the BMO and UKMT pathway diagrams, and the assembled reading lists — is the copyright of the editorial team unless otherwise attributed.

Permitted use:

  • Personal reading and reference: visitors may read, save and print pages for personal study and reference, without restriction.
  • Educational citation: teachers, parents and students may cite the site in educational materials with attribution to the BMO and UKMT Pathway Guide and a link to the source page.
  • Quotation: brief quotations (up to 200 words) may be used in third-party articles and blog posts with clear attribution and a link back to the source page.

Republishing entire pages, repurposing the content for commercial use, or scraping for AI training data is not permitted without prior written permission. Contact the editor through the WhatsApp advisor for permission requests.

03.
